In my opinion, many of these medications are known to the manufacturer to be addictive.
When addicted to opioids, your body craves the medication and shuts down without it.
These statistics do not even include the deaths by heroin, which is another serious, and dangerous, addiction.
The opioid crisis will soon claim around 100,000 lives per year in the United States.
Drug addiction is very serious. And many people believe that Big Pharma is to blame.
